Bandit



This small restaurant and coffee shop, located in the Dogpatch region, is a wonderful find. It opens early in the morning every day (7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday to Friday, and 7:30 am to 8:00 pm on the weekend), so it has become one of my favorite places to grab a quick breakfast when I am in the area.

The restaurant serves some nice breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos, but their  entire menu, including their lunch sandwiches and burgers, are also available all day. I like to get their cheeseburger, which is made with American Kobe beef and Tillamook cheddar cheese.

The service is lightning quick. The prices are relatively low, and the food tastes wonderful.

I highly recommend trying it; I frequently come back for more!  When it comes to their sushi and sashimi, the fish is always extremely fresh. When this fish is paired with freshly prepared, crunchy nori and perfectly seasoned Japanese rice, the combination is incredible. The flavors and textures balance each other perfectly! Every detail is thought of, right down to the delicious soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi that comes free with the meal. Caffe Chiave Caffe Chiave is a cute and homey Italian cafe overlooking San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley. It’s the kind of place you go to when you’re hungry and leave feeling satisfied.  The interior design, like the menu, has clearly been influenced by Italian style and culture. Its design utilizes warm-colored wood and dark red trim, a color scheme that reminds the visitor that this is an Italian cafe. The speakers play instrumental music that goes with the Italian-inspired theme. The cafe is not particularly large, nor is it jam-packed. It holds about twenty small tables that are spaced apart enough to give each table some distance and privacy. This creates a cozy and comfortable feel.
