Dinner:  Monday – Saturday, 5:00 pm – 8:45 pm.

This Japanese restaurant has an extensive menu full of delicious items. I highly recommend trying it; I frequently come back for more!

When it comes to their sushi and sashimi, the fish is always extremely fresh. When this fish is paired with freshly prepared, crunchy nori and perfectly seasoned Japanese rice, the combination is incredible. The flavors and textures balance each other perfectly! Every detail is thought of, right down to the delicious soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi that comes free with the meal. I love the tekkamaki and the fire lizard the most, but be sure to come back to try the many different types of rolls on the menu--they are all worth trying! You also might enjoy the combo zuke don (pictured below), which features their fresh fish and good rice.

They also use their perfectly seasoned Japanese rice to serve on katsu, teriyaki, and tempura bowls, as well as with other complete meals. For many of their meal options, a choice of protein is served over their wonderful rice with a salad and their miso soup (which is some of the yummiest miso soup I have ever had). I think of all their yummy meal combinations, I have most enjoyed the beef teriyaki dinner and the tonkatsu dinner. The chicken teriyaki is also very good (pictured above).

Also on the menu are several different meats with udon and a vegetable udon option. Their udon noodles are perfectly chewy and slurpy, and the broth is warm, delightfully salty, and savory. My favorite is the Tokyo Kara-age udon (pictured below), but all of their udon dishes are superb.

The set meal options are a safe bet, but all the protein options for the meal combinations and udon are available a la carte. You can also order their delicious miso soup a la carte if you do not want a set meal option.

The menu also includes several interesting appetizers such as gyoza, edamame, and kizami wakame, and an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages. Everything they serve is served with real pride in what they do. You can count on them to have good food and good service every time.

The prices are quite reasonable given the quality and the location. My friends and I all love this place and come back all the time. It's real a hidden gem, one you should try if you are ever nearby!
