Stacks is a spacious and welcoming restaurant in Menlo Park with an incredible breakfast and lunch menu that draws crowds of people who want to spend quality time with friends and family. It’s a comfortable place for people of all ages, including senior citizens and young children. Everyone fits in and can find something good to eat on the extensive menu.

With so many savory and sweet breakfasts and typical American lunch fare, the possibilities of this breakfast/lunch destination seem to be nearly endless. There are so many spin-offs on classic omelets, waffles, pancakes, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and salads that it’s pretty crazy! It even has a complete gluten-free menu available on request. 
 
The extensive menu means you can decide how healthily you want to eat that meal. You can choose between salads and egg white omelets or decadent pancakes, French toast, and waffles, and they have everything in between in terms of healthiness! That’s what makes it so appealing for people of all stages of life to gather here and socialize.

As you might expect at a place called Stacks, they serve a variety of 15 flavors of pancakes, starting with their signature fluffy buttermilk pancake batter and adding to it. The cakes are a generous size and come browned on both sides into a nice golden color. The cookies and cream Oreo pancakes were everything you’d want from a pancake, plus, of course, some chocolatey, slightly crunchy Oreos mixed in and a sweet dollop of whipped cream on top. They’re rich, filling, and delightful. The pancakes make a great main course or side dish, as you can get them individually, as part of a short (two-pancake) stack, or tall (three-pancake) stack.

You will also find that the salads here come out looking like works of art. They serve the salads as an alternative to the delightfully sweet pancakes, waffles, and French toast, and they are even healthier than the egg dishes that are also offered. These salads are healthy and colorful, with great additions like quinoa and sweet potato fries.

The food is served at a leisurely pace, and the portions are extremely large. This is done with the expectation that you have come here to stay a while and enjoy yourself with the people you came with. The large, neutral colored dining room is a safe place to enjoy an intimate gathering among family and friends of all ages and life stages. People come here not just for the taste of the food—delicious as it is—but also for the variety on the menu and the atmosphere, which make it a beautiful place for a special reunion of family and friends.

Dessert N Spice This cute little bakery can be found along University Avenue in Berkeley. The bakery is not large, so there are only about three tables and a few more stools along the bar against the wall. It's a nice place to stop for or pick up a sweet treat. Entering the bakery, you will see sunlight streaming through the big windows and three big glass cases illuminated by bright lights. Inside these cases are premium pastries like specialty cakes, muffins, baklava, croissants, cookies, and macaroons. Each one looks like a work of art.  They also serve caffeinated beverages. iniBurger: Juicy and Halal burger chain capturing the hearts of the SF Bay?

iniBurger I enjoyed my trip to iniBurger, the Halal burger chain that has several locations around Northern California. It was my first time trying this place, and I was very impressed. It is a brightly colored restaurant where you can order and pay either at the counter or on one of their kiosks. They serve burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, and fries. The prices are not displayed on the menus on display behind the counter, but they stay in a reasonable range, for the most part between $10 and $20.  There is room to sit in their brightly colored restaurant or outside. The music is relatively loud inside, and the atmosphere is lively and fun.   I ordered the Americano burger and had to admit it was a succulent and enticing creation. It was a juicy burger with a special sauce that tasted like pepper. I could taste the charred edges of the patty and the salty, savory seasonings on it.
